Safari Link SA understands that a life-changing wildlife experience should be accessible to all. Our 4-Day Budget Dumela Tented Camp Adventure is meticulously designed to deliver an unforgettable, authentic safari experience in the renowned Greater Kruger National Park area, offering exceptional value without compromising on the thrill of the chase or the quality of your accommodation.
Your stay at Dumela Tented Camp offers an ideal midrange camping experience right in the heart of the bush. Choose between en-suite chalets or air-conditioned safari tents for a comfortable night’s rest. Head out on exciting game drives in open safari vehicles, led by expert guides who will help you spot the Big 5 and more in the wild expanses of Kruger.
Dumela Tented Camp is strategically situated in the Motlala Reserve, part of the vast Greater Kruger area. This location offers several key advantages that make it a competitive choice for the savvy traveller. Firstly, its position provides easy, fast access to the famous Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park, meaning less time travelling and more time actively searching for wildlife within the main park.
Secondly, staying in a private reserve like Motlala allows us to offer exclusive game drives (like the spectacular sunset drive) where you benefit from the expertise of local guides away from the main public roads.
The camp itself redefines budget accommodation. Forget basic camping, this is ‘glamping’ at its best. Guests stay in comfortable, permanent en-suite tented accommodation equipped with the crucial modern comforts you appreciate after a long day in the bush. This includes air conditioning to manage the Lowveld heat, private bathrooms, and complimentary Wi-Fi access around the lodge area.
The communal facilities, featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant area, provide a relaxing, sociable environment where you can truly unwind against the backdrop of the Drakensberg mountain range.
