Itinerary
Day 1:
5:30 AM–6:30 AM: Comfortable pickup from Johannesburg in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle owned and operated by MoAfrika Tours. Enjoy a quick comfort stop for beverages, snacks, and toilet use during the 2 to 2.5-hour drive.
9:00 AM: Arrive at Pilanesberg and embark on a 3-hour morning game drive in our superior open vehicles, fully operated by MoAfrika Tours and led by top-tier rangers selected for their expertise. Our radio-linked communication ensures prime wildlife sightings, such as the Big Five!
12:00 PM: Arrive at Tlou Tented Safari Camp (approximately 4km from the park gate) for a delicious lunch and check-in.
Unwind in your luxurious en-suite tent, take a dip in the new swimming pool, or relax by the boma.
4:00 PM–7:00 PM: Join an open-vehicle sunset game drive, conducted by MoAfrika Tours in superior open vehicles, chasing golden sunsets and wildlife magic in vehicles designed to surpass standard lodge vehicles. Return for an authentic South African dinner in the beautiful boma, illuminated by a roaring campfire, featuring local dishes such as braai, bobotie, and hearty stews for a true taste of the region.

Day 2:
Early Morning:
Wake up early for a thrilling 3-hour game drive in open safari vehicles, exclusively operated by MoAfrika Tours. Guided by expert rangers and supported by radio tracking, this drive offers prime opportunities to spot wildlife at its most active. Return to camp around 9:00 AM for a hearty breakfast.
Mid-Morning:
Relax and unwind at Tlou Tented Safari Camp. Enjoy the pool, take in the peaceful bush surroundings from your fan-cooled en-suite tent, or join an optional short walk with a ranger (subject to availability).
12:00 PM:
Head out on a short closed-vehicle game drive with MoAfrika Tours for one last wildlife encounter—or opt to stay back and enjoy a quiet afternoon at the camp. (Pickup for non-participants is at 2:30 PM.)
3:00 PM:
Depart Pilanesberg in a MoAfrika Tours vehicle. A quick stop en route allows time to grab snacks, refreshments, and use the restroom. The drive back to Johannesburg takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, with arrival expected between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
